World's Most Crowded Prison (Kresty Prison, St. Petersburg, Russia)

Russia's prisons have a reputation for being the most overcrowded on Earth, especially Kresty Prison in St. Petersburg. The official capacity is set at 3,000, but the actual population is always at least 10,000. Each prisoner is also said to only be allowed 4 square meters of space each and 15 minutes a week (a week!) to shower. In summer 2006 Vladimir Putin announced that the prison would be relocated to a new facility in the Kolpinsky District on the outskirts of Saint Petersburg. After the relocation is complete the Kresty building will be sold at auction. It is anticipated that the prison building will be transferred into a hotel-entertainment complex.

World's Most Crowded Street (Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan)

With 2.5 million people a day, there's no doubt Tokyo's Shibuya is the busiest intersection in the world. No matter what time you go, the crossing is always busy. During the day, in the middle of night, at dusk – the amount of people is always consistent. It must be quite exciting when the green light goes on and you see the thousands moving in your direction.

Europe's Most Crowded Country (England)

The number of people living in England has overtaken the population density of Holland, which has traditionally been the most densely-populated major nation on the continent. The count, which has been attributed to higher levels of immigration, shows England has 395 people per square kilometre. China is still the most crowded country in the world.

World's Most Crowded Area (Mongkok, China)

According to Guinness World Records, the Mongkok area has the highest population density of anywhere on Earth, with an estimated 130,000 people per square kilometer. Mongkok is a commercial/residential area located in central Kowloon. The Chinese characters for Mongkok (“旺角”) mean “busy corner” and this too is no exaggeration.

Reputed to be the largest sandy beach in Asia, the number one bathing beach is situated on Huiquan Bay in Qingdao, Shandong Province. Also called Huiquan Bathing Beach, this beach is noted for its clear water, mild waves and soft sand. Even in winter this place is crowded with keen swimmers.

World's Most Crowded Train (India)

A lot of people assume that Japan has the world's most crowded trains. Apparently that's not the case. On an episode of a Japanese TV show, “Itte Q,” a reporter was sent to India so she could experience what may be the “world's most crowded train”. They wanted to see if she could read a newspaper on the train, but it proved to be extremely difficult.

World's Most Crowded Football Stadium (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

Open-air stadium Maracanã, officially known as the Estádio Jornalista Mário Filho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, opened in 1950 to host the FIFA World Cup. During the last game of this cup, in a match that would be later known as the Maracanazo, a world record of attendance was set in a football game: the official number of viewers was 199,854, with the actual attendance estimated to be about 210,000.

Guinness World Records Truely Weird,Funny And Amazing

Anandita Dutta Tamuly smears ghost chilies, the world’s spiciest, in her eyes before gobbling them up during an attempt to enter the Guinness WorldRecords books, in Jorhat, India, April 9. British chef Gordon Ramsay is beside her. Organizers said the 28-year-old Indian woman ate 51 fire-hot chilies in two minutes.

Linda Wolfe, 68, of Anderson, Ind., shows off photos of a few of her ex-husbands. Wolfe, who has been married 23 times and holds the title of world’s most married person, said in February that she’s lonely and would love to walk down the aisle again, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Lee Redmond’s record-length fingernails were broken in a car accident Feb. 10. The Utah woman’s nails, which hadn’t been cut since 1979, totaled more than 28 feet in length during a 2008 measurement. The longest nail, on her right thumb, was 2 feet, 11 inches.



Eric Hahn holds the record of world’s tallest mohawk at 27 inches.

Previously, Aaron Studham of Massachusetts set a record for highest hair, at 24 inches.

Khalil Semhat holds a giant potato he found on his farm near Tyre, Lebanon, for photographers on Dec. 6. He said he hopes the nearly 25-pounder will be a Guinness World Record.

Russia’s Svetlana Pankratova, the world’s leggiest woman, poses with China’s He Pingping, the world’s smallest man, in London in September. Pankratova’s legs are 4 feet, 4 inches long. He stands at 2 feet and 5.37 inches tall.

Last August, China’s Bao Xishun reclaimed the title of the world’s tallest man after Leonid Stadnik of Ukraine refused to be measured under new guidelines from Guinness WorldRecords. Bao is 7 feet, 8.95 inches.

Sandy Allen, who was known as the world’s tallest woman at 7 feet 7.25 inches tall, died Aug. 13 at a nursing home in Indiana. Before her death, Allen had been hospitalized for several ailments. She was 53.

Jackie Bibby of Texas earned a Guinness title for sitting in a bathtub with 87 rattlesnakes. Bibby broke his previous record by 12 snakes.

Elaine Davidson, a Brazilian who lives in Scotland, set the record for most body piercings at 4,250.

Tran Van Hay of Vietnam is thought to have the world’s longest hair, measuring over 20 feet, but it is unverified. He hasn’t had a haircut in more than 30 years.

Jianhua once held the record for lifting the most weight with an ear, but he was surpassed by Pakistan’s Zafar Gill. Guinness recognizes Gill for picking up a 135.7 pound weight with his ear in 2007.

New Born Baby With A Huge Tooth From Croatia

Most of us get ours first teeth few months after we are born but this little girl from Vuglovac in Croatia was born with a giant tooth. Ema Eronic, a little baby from Vuglovac near Ivanac in Croatia has became a true medical wonder after doctors found that she was born with already grown tooth.



The doctor who performed an operation of tooth removal shortly after baby’s birth said that this was the first such case in his 20-years long career. He claims he newer saw something similar although this phenomenon is well known to him. The tooth was removed because it was potentially dangerous for baby’s health. Doctors decided to remove it because tooth was pretty unstable and could easily slip into baby’s throat which eventually could have fatal consequences.

This cake would be perfect at a roadkill restaurant. I especially like the fact that they didn’t go overboard on the blood – it is just enough to know that the bird is not sleeping (well – that and its broken neck).

A great cake for people who work in a saw mill – this is the decapitation cake. It was featured in a grossest cake bake-off.

This cake is a work of art. It is made by an incredibly talented lady and you can read all about her methods (as well as look at many pictures in the making process) here. Here is a brief snippet: “I calculated that, between the cake, the French creams, and the bloody eyeball cordial cherries, I went through 15 pounds of granulated sugar, 2 bags of powdered sugar, 8 large bags of chocolate chips, 2 bottle of corn syrup, 8 pounds of dark chocolate, and 4 pounds of white chocolate. I have a slight tendency to go overboard with these things. We have a lot of eyeballs left over.”

Most Unusual Immortal Animal On Earth

Turritopsis nutricula

Have you ever wondered what would happen if our life cycles were reversed, that is if we were born old and died young? Well, there’s one animal that comes close and has achieved immortality in the process, just to top it off. Meet the Turritopsis nutricula, a small saltwater animal or hydrozoan related to jellyfish and corals.

Like most jellyfish, Turritopsis nutricula undergoes two distinct stages in its life cycle: The polypoid or immature stage, when it’s just a small stalk with feeding tentacles; and the medusa or mature stage when the only 1mm-long polyps asexually produce jellyfish.

Turritopsis nutricula in its aptly named medusa form with a bright red stomach:

A jellyfish’s lifespan usually ranges from somewhere between a few hours for the smallest species to several months and rarely to a few years for the bigger species. How does the only 4-5 mm long Turritopsis nutricula (let’s call it T’nut) manage to beat the system?

Well, T’nut is able to transform between medusa and polyp stage, thereby reverting back from mature to immature stage and escaping death. The cell process is called transdifferentiation, when non-stem cells either transform into a different type of cell or when an already differentiated or specialised stem cell creates cells outside this specialised path.

The polyp state of Turritopsis rubra, long synonymised with T’nut:

T’nut requires tissue from both the jellyfish bell surface and the circulatory canal system for its transdifferentiation. This switching of cell roles is not unusual and can be seen in many animals and humans, but usually only when parts of an organ regenerate. In T’nut’s case, reverting back to an immature state is part of its regular life cycle.

In its medusa form, Turritopsis nutricula is bell-shaped and about 4-5 mm in diameter. Young specimens will be only 1 mm in diameter and have eight tentacles to start out with but can have between 80 and 90 as adults.

Turritopsis nutricula most likely originated in the Caribbean but can now be found in the temperate to tropical regions in all of the world’s oceans, spreading further through the ballast water that ships discard in ports. According to Dr. Maria Pia Miglietta from the Smithsonian Tropical Marine Institute: “We are looking at a worldwide silent invasion.”

Silent invasion? Possibly, but while Turritopsis nutriculae may be biologically immortal, they are surely not invincible. Especially in their immature stage, they are susceptible to predators and diseases and many die before they even reach jellyfish stage. Still, they are to date the only known animal capable of reverting to an earlier, immature stage.

• Old people can get a little crazy. It’s not really news to say that, since we’ve all had grandparents or at least been leered at awkwardly by some crazy old man named Pete. For the record, no, you don’t want his special candy. Anyway, an 89-year-old German woman named Heidi Kohl went a little nuts one night and decided to slash the tires of cars parked up and down her street. Apparently, she had gotten fed up with the sheer audacity of the people in her neighborhood, who for some reason believed that since they lived on the street, they should be able to park there. Not on Heidi’s watch, you nervy .In an attempt to out-crazy ol’ Heidi, the judge decided that the best recourse would be sentencing her to…no, not prison time…not a fine either. Nope, she was ordered by the court to knit sweaters for each of her victims. Which we think was a little bit of an easy sentence, because we all know that next to being crazy, the thing old people like best is going hog wild with a needle and some thread.

• You know, maybe it’s just me, but if you’re a man or a woman in an abusive relationship, probably the last thing you should do is stay with that abusive significant other. I mean for God’s sake, look at all of those Lifetime movies dealing with this very issue! And if you can’t trust a Lifetime movie that’s telling you that staying in an abusive relationship is bad news, then who or what can you trust? Nothing, that’s who or what. Or maybe it’s a little bit of both. Either way, it’s a bad idea.But that didn’t stop a judge in Ohio back in 1995 from ordering a man suspected of domestic violence to settle down with his girlfriend in the apparent belief that married men do not beat their wives. According to the judge, the idea that there are actual “marital bonds” might make the abuser think things over before resorting to physical abuse. And it’s just so much easier for a woman to get out of an abusive relationship when you have to go through all of the legal trouble stemming from a divorce, right? Good call there, your honor.
• The Guy Who REALLY Couldn’t Get a Girlfriend
• Of course, there are some judges who would have gone in the complete opposite direction and ordered that the dude from Ohio should stay away from his abused girlfriend. And then there’s this judge from Canada who didn’t think that keeping an abusive guy away from one girl was enough. No, he went all out and banned 24-year-old Steven Cranley from having a girlfriend for three years after he beat up his girlfriend following her dumping him.But apparently there’s good reason for this ruling after all. It turns out that Cranley suffered from a dependent personality disorder and doctors thought it was highly likely he’d re-offend, so the judge decided it’d be in everyone’s best interest if Cranley just stayed the hell away from women until he got the proper psychiatric treatment. The bottom line is that I would just like to be a fly on the wall when this judge and the one from Ohio get together to drink Scotch and trade war stories. Especially when the Canadian judge whipped the Ohio judge’s ass for being such a moron.
• Rap Fan Would Rather Pay Fine than Listen to Beethoven
• Okay, now what the hell is it with Ohio judges? I’m still scratching my head over the dude who ordered an abusive boyfriend to marry his victim. And remember the kid who tried to steal had to wear the blindfold? Yeah, he was in Ohio too. And then there’s this guy, a judge from Urbana, Ohio who apparently doesn’t get these kids with that noise they call music, and wishes they’d just turn down the damn stereo already. Those damn whippersnappers.Andrew Vactor was driving around in his car, blasting his rap music, and apparently some folks didn’t take too kindly. Anyway, Vactor was facing a $150 fine for violating a noise ordinance when the judge decided to shake things up a little bit and offered to reduce the fine by $35 if Vactor agreed to listen to 20 hours of classical music. Initially, Vactor accepted the deal but reportedly gave up after 15 minutes. Apparently he didn’t appreciate just how thug Mozart really was.
• Would You Make a Police Officer, Lettuce and Tomato Sandwich?
• Pigs may be many things – bacon, ham, pork; just flat out delicious, really – but in case you were not aware, they are not police officers. Thank goodness, too, because they lack the dexterity to hold and fire a gun, let alone the aim to hit anything. We don’t even want to think about a pig behind the wheel of a squad car, either. That would just be ludicrous. But a judge in – you guessed it – Ohio just wanted to make sure we were all clear on just how not a police officer a pig actually is.Oh, and did I mention that this was the same damn judge who sentenced the loving teen? Quick side note here, if ever there was a judge with the balls to actually sentence someone to be a butler, it’s this guy. Anyway, back in 2002 a 44-year-old man apparently flipped off some cops and referred to them as pigs. The man was offered a deal: three days in jail, or two hours on a street corner with a pig, holding a sign saying “This is Not a Police Officer.” He chose the latter. Then, I’d like to think, he ate the pig.

Unbeliveable Old Grandma With Horn On Her Forehead

The Sun reported today the strange growth began appearing on 101-year-old Zhang Ruifang's forehead last year.

Since then it has reached more than six centimetres and a matching horn looks to be appearing on the other side.

The grandmother's condition has left her family in Linlou Village, Henan province, baffled and worried.

The youngest of her six sons, Zhang Guozheng, 60, said when a patch of rough skin formed on her forehead last year "we didn't pay too much attention to it."

Zhang, whose eldest brother and sibling is 82-years-old, added, "but as time went on a horn grew out of her head and it is now six centimetres long.

"Now something is also growing on the right side of her forehead. It's quite possible that it's another horn."

Although it is unknown what the growth is, it resembles a cutaneous horn.

These are funnel-shaped growths and although most are only a centimetre in length, some can extend a number of centimetres from the skin.

The growths are most common in elderly people, aged between 60 and the mid-70s

Skull and Bones

The Order of Skull and Bones, a Yale University society, was originally known as the Brotherhood of Death and was founded in 1832 by the students. The society is surrounded by conspiracy theories; the most popular of which is probably the idea that the CIA was built on members from the group. But another more shocking truth is that like the rest, the society hides the dark secrets of evil practices too. They incorporated sexual activities into their practices in which they lay naked in coffins telling their deepest and darkest sexual secrets as part of their initiation. Like the ONA their prime goal is New World Order. Ron Rosenbaum in his writings has also pointed out that Bones and the Bavarian Illuminists are closely linked to each other, giving evidence like ‘haunting photograph of the altar room at one of the Masonic lodges at Nuremberg that is closely associated with Illuminism.’ Shockingly President Bush is an adept in an American Brotherhood of the Yale Skull and Bones Society.

The members of Theul society were in real Satanists who practiced Black Magic and Sexual Magic.
