Eminem thinks about his own death “a lot”.
The ‘We Made You’ rapper
, who has famously battled an addiction to prescription drugs, often thinks about his own passing when he is in bed but admits it “creeps” him out.
He said, “Do I think about my own death? Yeah, I do. A lot. I think about it a lot. I try not to think about it but I do and it creeps me the f**k out! When I lay in bed at night is when I think about it the most.”
Recalling a time when he was hospitalized at the height of his drug addiction, Eminem added to Vibe magazine, “It creeps me out because they say that if I got to the hospital two hours later then I would be gone. I think about that a lot.”
The rapper, real name Marshall Mathers, also revealed how easy it was for him to obtain illegal prescriptions from doctors overawed by his celebrity status.
The hip-hop star, who checked into a rehabilitation centre in 2005 to be treated for an addiction to prescription pills explained, “It’s one of those things where you’re famous, doctors will kiss you’re a*s because they love the celebrity. ‘Oh, I can call up Eminem and get him on the phone right now. Oh, hi Marshall, how are you doing? Do you need that prescription?’
“There are doctors that will give you certain things just because of who you are.”
Eminem also spoke of his shock at his ‘8 Mile’ co-star Brittany Murphy’s death in December, admitting he thinks there is an epidemic of tragedy currently sweeping Hollywood.
He said, “It was crazy. It’s crazy. It’s crazy because at one point we were very close and she was a really good person. It’s crazy when you see things not just with her but just all these things that are happening in Hollywood with people in music, with people in acting, famous people. Famous people are overdosing at alarming rates and – that almost sounded like a commercial. Wow.”

When Francois Robert unexpectedly acquired a human skeleton in the 1990s, he knew he had to do something wonderful with it. Several years later when the economy collapsed and he found himself with time on his hands, Robert finally settled on a project: powerful anti-war images spelled out in human bones.
Bones, whether animal or human, always evoke powerful emotions. They represent death, loss, destruction, a sense of sad history. Francois Robert is no stranger to these images and emotions: he once spent five weeks photographing 140 animal skulls from the Field museum of Natural History. He’s always been fascinated by bones, so it’s no surprise that he spent all of 2008 rearranging them into evocative sculptures.
The project started when the photographer found an old educational skeleton in a locker purchased at a school auction. He displayed it in his studio for years but always wondered what else he could do with it. He eventually came up with the idea to take the skeleton apart and use the bones to create these unique and hauntingly beautiful works of art.
The series of photographs is entitled “Stop the Violence,” and it uses human bones as a reminder of the consequences of violence. Each sculpture is five to six feet wide and took Robert a full day to assemble. The images are all grippingly powerful: weapons, religious symbols and words that bring to mind the destruction that is left behind after war.
Many of us are shocked at the simple sight of human bones. The built-in emotional factor of the bones is only amplified by Robert’s arrangements. But the artist is always careful to maintain a sense of respect for the bones; this human on the floor of his studio is a very real reminder of what is left behind when a light is extinguished.

This phenomenon is especially common during the summer months in the Sierra Nevada of California where snow has lingered from winter storms, mainly at altitudes of 10,000 to 12,000 feet. Compressing the snow with your boot leaves a distinct footprint the color of watermelon pulp. The snow even has a fresh watermelon scent and is sometimes called "watermelon snow." Walking in pink snow often results in a temporary discoloration of your clothing, such as bright red soles and pinkish pant cuffs. It was not until the end of the nineteenth century that the unusual phenomenon was finally attributed to high concentrations or "blooms" of microscopic algae. In the high mountain ranges of the western United States at least 60 different species of snow algae have been identified, but only a few kinds have been reported from the Sierra Nevada. One of the most common species of snow algae in California, and the one responsible for pink snow, is Chlamydomonas nivalis. This unicellular organism is a member of the diverse green algae Division Chlorophyta (Order Volvocales), and contains a bright red carotenoid pigment in addition to chlorophyll. Unlike most species of fresh-water algae, it is cryophilic (cold-loving) and thrives in freezing water. Its scientific surname, nivalis, is from Latin and refers to snow. Compressing pink snow with your boot increases the density of the red cells and heightens the color.
The first accounts of watermelon snow are in the writings of Aristotle. Watermelon snow has puzzled mountain climbers, explorers, and naturalists for thousands of years, some speculating that it was caused by mineral deposits or oxidation products that were leached from rocks.

If you ever get a chance to hike in the Sierra Nevada, keep in mind that yellow snow doesn’t have a lemon aroma or taste. Don’t eat it :)

1. Affenpinscher
This sweet little dog has earned itself the nickname of Monkey Dog because it has a very primate like appearance and personality. It has a terrier body, shaggy fur and squashed in face give it a rather unique look. Even stranger is the fact that the hair is thicker and shaggier around the chest and shoulders than it is around the hind quarters, creating a look that resembles that of a mane. The most common color is black but silver, gray, red, tan and belge (mixture of red, black and white hairs) are other possible colors.
2. Xoloitzcuintli
This dog has a name that is even stranger than its appearance. The name is pronounced Sho-lo-eets-quint-lee but if that becomes too challenging this dog is also known as the Mexican hairless. These dogs have had a long and unique history in Mexico and they were even considered sacred by the Aztecs. The ancient Aztecs believe that these dogs were needed to help guide the souls of their masters into the underworld. What makes this dog stand out is not only the fact that it is hairless but also because it has a long neck, bat ears, almond eyes and a sleek body.
3. Puli
While there are a few different dread-locked breeds this is one of the more popular and unique breeds. The Puli has dreads which are called cords and they start to form when they are 9 month old puppies. This dog requires very demanding grooming as they cords have to be separated to prevent excess matting from occurring. Despite the fact that their coat looks heavy and cumbersome, these dogs are actually very light and agile.
4. Cambodian Razorback Dog
This dog may look normal at times but it is known for its rather large and unique razor down his back. These are actually tropical dogs but they have a long coat, which is not common for a dog that lives in these warm areas. But this dog does not seem to overheat and they can be found all over Cambodia. This is a very territorial dogs but they do not bark unless there is a real need for them. While they can be very friendly and loving dogs they are not for the first time dog owner.
5. Bergamasco
This is another dread-locked dog that has a very unique look but this dog does not have dreadlocks in the form of cords but rather in what is known as a felt. Their coat has three different types of hair which is very thick and easily mats. The mats start from the spine and go down the flanks. These dogs are actually born with short, smooth fur which eventually mats in this unique way as the dog grows.
6. Lagotto Romagnolo
This dog may not look entirely strange but it is a very unique dog. This breed has very curly, thick and woolly hair that is even considered to be hypoallergenic. But what really makes this dog stand out is that it is the first known dog with the ability to search for truffles. Typically this was the job of pigs but now this fluffy purebred dog can take over that job. The Lagotto Romagnolo is also a great companion dog for just about anyone.
7. LowChen
This dog has the appearance of a large dog in a much smaller package. It has often been referred to as the Little Lion Dog, the rarest dog in the world and the most expensive dog in the world. This anywhere from seven inches to thirteen inches high and has a long and wavy coat. This dog has no undercoat and the hair should never curl. These are very friendly and intelligent dogs so they make great pets, if you are able to find an afford one.
8. Bedlington Terrier
This sweet little dog looks just like a lamb but has the countenance of a sweet and friendly dog. They have pear shaped heads, triangular ears and fur that looks like the curly hair of the sheep. This dog was actually bred as a fighter, which may seem strange compared to his docile appearance. The terrier is groomed with longer fur on the head and legs with shorter fur on the torso. The reason for this is that the dogs used to hunt vermin and the longer fur prevented the animals from hurting the dog.
9. Neapolitan Mastiff
This dog is given a very strange appearance because of the amount of loose skin that folds over their face. They have these wrinkles all over their body but they are most prominent on the face and head. These wrinkles actually involve extra care as owners need to clean in-between the folds in order to prevent acne and infection. These dogs have a very formidable appearance and it is for that reason that a Neapolitian Mastiff was chosen to play Fang in Harry Potter.
10. Chinese Crested
This dog has always received the bad rap of being the ugliest dog breed. This is because the dog is hairless everywhere but on the top of its head, its paws and its tail. This presents a very unique appearance. Even though most of its fur is exposed it is actually very sensitive and sunscreen needs to be used if this dog is going to be spending too much time outside. They also need to be bathed and moisturized regularly in order to prevent dry skin and infections.

Chinese doctors claim to have discovered the biggest case of man Breast in the world after a dairy farmer turned up at a specialist chest clinic in Beijing.
Doctor Zhang Lilan at the Jinan Chest Hospital said: "The man is in every way male except for his enormous breasts.
"He is a farmer and says they are extremely uncomfortable as he has to do a lot of manual work and they get in the way of everything.
"He said it has also attracted a lot of attention in the village where he comes from with people turning up to point and laugh at him, so much so that he now has to wear a heavy coat to cover up his figure even in the hottest weather."
The man, Guo Feng, 53, said: "About 10 years ago my chest started to get larger but I didn't think much of it as I was putting on weight all over - but in the last few years it's become unbearable and I have been from one hospital to the other with nobody able to help me.
"I have spent all my money on examinations and tests and am still no nearer a solution - in fact my breasts are now bigger than ever.
"I sometimes think the doctors don't want to help me with this because they find me a medical curiosity."
He says if no one can help him he will cut them off himself and has appealed for doctors to do something before that.
But the doctors say they do not want to act until they have identified what the problem is.
Doctor Zhang Lilan added: "In 30 years of working as specialist here at the chest clinic I have never seen anything like it."
Clinic boss Gaoyong Hong added: "We wondered if he had eaten any poisons or contaminants but have found nothing after testing his blood. His genetic material is also normal. We did an Xray. It is not a cancer. It seems to be fatty tissue - at the most the best we can suggest is that it is the biggest case of man Breast ever."
